Mokkers supporting Let's Wrestle @ PrivatClub Berlin

A few weeks ago we were offered to play as supporters of Let's Wrestle Thursday, September 22. at PrivatClub. Of course we said yes! We didn't know the band but we like PrivatClub and had already enjoyed some great gigs there. So we trusted and did good, because we had a great time playing and also chatting with the guys.

Unfortunately we don't have pictures of the gig but I upload a Video of a Let's Wrestle's song and a drawing I guess done by them. I forgot to ask about it but I got impressed wit the drawings of their record's sleeves and the one on the drum's patch.

The Mokkers @ White Trash (3. Sept. 2011)

What to say about this gig...We were so glad to be offered to play @ White Trash! We really love the place and the programm and the food and everything there.
I cannot tell any story because I arrived just for the show, as I was busy all the day with something else. We enjoyed the show and the public 's reply could not be better.

Unfortunately I could not see the show before ours. The band is called Brüh Brothers in Flames and looks quite good! http://www.myspace.com/bruehbrothersinflames

After us Dirty & The Girl Schouts were performing. Good noisy, dirty stuff, stripper included!

Sky Way Jam 2011 Luckenwalde 06-08-2011

Another Road Trip to add to our tiny collection! This one was thnks God shorter. We were suposed to play in Luckenwalde, a small city not so far from Berlin. This small, familiar and peacefull place, which takes a once a year the "Sky Way Jam festival" in, welcomed us with open arms.

Two scenarios were prepaired and an improvised kitchen inside a tent full of food waiting for feeding us before the show. A couple of bands were playing before us. Among others, Pedro Mountains Mummy, who did a great performance. Then us. Perfect time. 23:00 I think (not sure).

Great sound, everything working, nature...what else could we desire...Maybe beautiful pictures. We also got them!!

Frankfurt Abenteuer: Mokker's gig @ MOONSHAKE PARTY

The Mokkers first gig outside Berlin!! I mean outside outside, because Luckenwalde is ouside but quite close to the big city. It was a kind of adventure, as we had just time to go, play and return. 16 hours travel for 45 minutes gig. But it was worth making it!

Long long travel including some hitches, but at least funny and stressfull at the end, as we were suposed tu arrive at a concrete time to be interviewed in Radio X. We succeded though, and here is the proof : http://official.fm/tracks/291493

We arrived to the Club then, and started to build everything for the show.
Pony Hof, really cute pastel colors paited house in the old area of the city, full of other charming buildings. http://www.ponyhof-club.de/

Upstairs from the club a fantastic tiny appartment was waiting for us, a table full of food and drinks was in a side of the room, behind it there was a kitchen, and on the other side a couple of beds were placed. Really much better than expected, so we were happy and could have a nice break eating haribo's and Käsebrötchen.

The worst part of playing is the time between everything gets prepaired and the beginning of the show. It's allways a weird time when you try not to drink too much and you also try to enjoy with the other members of the band and friends etc etc, but stop thinking at the show is impossible so at the end it becomes a tense and always too long time space, where mostly you get drunk...

The show was fun but we didn't play so good at least. People were dancing and enjoying though, and atmospheare was anyway cool, so we were satisfied.
We met some people after the concert, among others a group of people from Spain based in Frankfurt since a few years ago.

Return was hard but nice, we stopped in a road McDonnalds to eat something and have a coffee break. It was in the middle of nothing and surprisingly busy. Then, as we picked up the travel we saw a side of the rainbow touching the ground, it was beautifull and impressing. It only took 2 og the 480 minutes that we were on the road.

If we have the chance I guess we'll do it again next year...
